The Board of Eleco plc announced that it has completed a full and broad recruitment process for the role of Non-Executive Chair, with the support of an independent executive search agency. As a result of this process, the Board announced that Mark Castle, who was acting as Interim Chair, has been appointed as the permanent Chair of the Board with immediate effect. Mark who joined the industry as an apprentice in 1981, is currently a Non-Executive Director at FTSE 100 housebuilder, Taylor Wimpey and also a Non-Executive Director at Mace Group, the global consulting and construction group.

He also chairs the private equity funded business, Triangle Fire Group. The recruitment process for additional independent Non-Executive Directors will continue, and a further announcement will be made in due course.
