ANNOUNCEMENT BY PETRONAS GROUP RELATING TO THE PROPOSED SALE OF ITS INTEREST IN ENGEN LIMITED
Engen Botswana Limited ("Engen Botswana") shareholders are referred to the announcement made by the PETRONAS Group on 9 February 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa, relating to the proposed sale of its 74% interest in Engen Limited, a company registered in South Africa ("Engen South Africa") to Vivo Energy, a subsidiary of Vitol Group. PETRONAS Group is the ultimate holding company of Engen Botswana.
The proposed sale will not affect the operations or supply of product to Engen Botswana.
The aforementioned proposed transaction affecting Engen South Africa is subject to conditions precedent, including regulatory approvals.
