Suez has signed its first two photovoltaic power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Engie, covering the production of electricity from plants located on non-hazardous waste storage sites in the Morbihan and Val d'Oise regions of France.

Between now and 2026, the two groups are jointly committed to commissioning 14 solar power plants, in addition to the four already in production. Together, these units will represent a cumulative capacity of almost 180 MWp.

These photovoltaic projects are designed to supply renewable electricity to some of Suez's industrial water and waste sites, while guaranteeing a stable price over the long term, with these first two PPAs covering a 20-year period.
