As of March 2023, the Morava Corridor Motorway Project of ENKA-Bechtel JV located in the West Morava Region of Serbia with approximately a 112 km length from Preljina to Pojate, is progressing rapidly in all sectors. Furthermore, the operation of the Plana quarry has been ongoing which led paving and river regulation activities to progress.

On the project which employs over 3,900 people, a total of 28.6 million m3 of excavation, 11.4 million m3 of fill, 381,150 m3 of concrete, 262,500 m3 of subbase installation and 140,000 tons of asphalt installation works have been completed.

In Sector 1, the majority of earthworks, drainage and structure works have been completed, and paving and finishing works are in progress. Under winter conditions, Sections 1 and 2 of the Sector 1 have reached the completion stage and the top layer of asphalt is being installed at a rapid pace.

In Sector 2 and Sector 3, almost all over the alignment earthworks, drainage, and structures are progressing contemporaneously.

The project reached 309 working days and over 8 million person-hours without any lost time incident (LTI).
