Ericsson announced on Friday the forthcoming departure of the head of its Middle East and Africa activities, Fadi Pharaon.

A member of the Management Committee, Fadi Pharaon had held his position since 2019, but has been with the Swedish network equipment supplier for 26 years, holding various positions of responsibility.

The group says the executive has chosen to leave the company in order to pursue other professional opportunities.

In a statement, Ericsson says the name of Fadi Pharaon's successor, whose departure is scheduled for the end of August, will be announced 'in due course'.
