Energy Sustainable entered into an agreement to acquire 43.9% stake in Estre Ambiental, Inc. (NasdaqGM:ESTR) from BTG Pactual Principal Investments Fundo de Investimento em Participações and Fundo de Investimento em Participações Turquesa, managed by BTG Pactual Gestora de Recursos Ltda along with Banco BTG Pactual S.A. (BOVESPA:BPAC3) on May 31, 2019. Pursuant to the terms of agreement, Energy Sustainable purchased 20.06 million shares of Estre Ambiental, Inc. for BRL 1000 in cash. As a result of transaction, the sellers no longer hold any stake in Estre Ambiental, Inc. BTG Pactual Principal Investments Fundo de Investimento em Participações held 9.1 million shares of Estre Ambiental, Inc., Fundo de Investimento em Participações Turquesa held 1.1 million shares, while Banco BTG Pactual S.A. held 9.9 million shares of Estre Ambiental, Inc.

Estre Ambiental Inc is a waste management company operating in Brazil. The Firm is engaged in waste collection, transfer, recycling and disposal. It provides municipal, commercial and industrial customers with a range of waste management solutions. The Companyâs activities are divided into four segments: Collection & Cleaning Services, Landfills, Oil & Gas and Value Recovery. The Collection & Cleaning segment includes urban cleaning services, household collection based on contracts with municipalities across six Brazilian states and waste collection for commercial and industrial customers.
