Europlasma has announced that its subsidiary Inertam has been definitively awarded the Algerian contract for the treatment of asbestos waste
from the dismantling of a thermal power plant at its Morcenx-la-Nouvelle (40) site.

On July 11, the company announced that it had been provisionally awarded the contract, following the first opening of bids.

This large-scale contract calls for an estimated volume of 7,000 tonnes of asbestos waste to be treated over 3 years, corresponding to total sales of almost €15 million, adjustable according to the actual tonnage and type of waste received.

The contract covers the reconditioning, collection, transport and disposal of asbestos waste from the dismantling of the Jijel steam power plant, located near the port of Djen Djen.
