FIDEA Holdings Co. Ltd. (TSE:8713) entered into Master Agreement to acquire The Tohoku Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8349) from Custody Bank of Japan, Ltd., The Resolution and Collection Corporation, The Master Trust Bank of Japan, Ltd., Fuji Dengyosya, Ltd. and Tohoku Bank Employee Shareholding Association on July 2, 2021. The companies plan to execute final agreement by mid-February 2022. Prior to executing a final agreement with respect to the Management Integration, the Companies will determine the share exchange ratio. Transaction is expected to close on October 1, 2022.
