(Alliance News) - FOS Spa announced Monday that it has joined an enterprise network called Esperia, "made up of consolidated realities of the Italian IT world and created to respond effectively to the needs for transition and technological innovation for businesses and Public Administration," the statement reads.

The partnership is made up of eleven system integrators, and consolidated realities of the IT world, able to extend their activities throughout the country who have decided to coordinate and create a reference point for a common strategy toward digital transition to serve and support PA also for the achievement of the objectives of the PNRR.

The nationwide network is coordinated by Netgroup Spa and composed of FOS, ADS Spa, Beta 80 Spa, BlueTensor Srl, Faticoni Spa, Infoteam Srl, Intersistemi Italia Spa, Ised Spa, Net Service Srl. and Sim NT Srl.

Enrico Botte, CEO of FOS said, "Being part of a network of companies brings many important advantages starting with new synergies with the other companies involved and the possibility of pursuing new business areas and applications. The full awareness of the objectives and benefits led us, in the last months of 2023, to be part of the Esperia Network and to participate - in collaboration with the network companies and important National Players - in important ICT multi-year calls for tenders from CONSIP and Central Purchasing Departments, worth a total of several billion euros, such as, for example, the recent call, announced for a total of EUR2 Billion for application services in Cloud perspective "SAC-PAL 3."

FOS stock is up 1.8 percent at EUR3.40 per share.
