FILIERA DEL MARMO

Carrara, 25 Luglio 2022 - Franchi Umberto Marmi S.p.A., azienda leader a livello internazionale nel settore della lavorazione e della commercializzazione del marmo di Carrara, quotata su Euronext Growth Milan, e BNL BNP Paribas comunicano di aver avviato una collaborazione finalizzata all'attivazione di sinergie a vantaggio delle imprese nella filiera del marmo di Carrara, per supportare il rilancio dell'economia del territorio. L'iniziativa si inserisce nell'ambito del "Programma Sviluppo Eccellenze del Made in Italy" di BNL BNP Paribas

L'accordo prevede che Franchi Umberto Marmi e BNL collaborino nell'individuare quelle aziende che si distinguano per capacità e competenze produttive e manageriali, dando loro la possibilità di accedere ad un sostegno finanziario a condizioni particolarmente competitive. L'iniziativa è volta a supportare il territorio di Carrara, caratterizzato da imprese di medie e piccole dimensioni, eccellenze nei propri mercati, con competenze specialistiche ad alto valore aggiunto e strategico per il settore e per il Paese.

In questo quadro, BNL BNP Paribas entrerà in contatto con i fornitori e le imprese collegate alla filiera del marmo, con l'obbiettivo di sostenerle finanziariamente. Ciò avverrà attraverso un'offerta di servizi del credito a condizioni agevolate, prodotti a supporto dell'export e dell'apertura ai mercati internazionali grazie anche al network globale del Gruppo BNP Paribas.

Più in dettaglio, gli interventi possono spaziare da finanziamenti a breve, medio e lungo termine fino a strumenti specifici come il reverse factoring. Inoltre, il supporto della Banca non si limiterà a fornire servizi finanziari a sostegno del business, ma prevede specifici prodotti volti ad accompagnare le imprese nei processi di efficientamento energetico, sostenendone la transizione ecologica e la riduzione dell'impatto ambientale con ricadute positive anche sulla comunità locale.

FRANCHI UMBERTO MARMI AND BNL BNP PARIBAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO SUPPORT

MARBLE SUPPLY CHAIN

Carrara, July 25th, 2022 - Franchi Umberto Marmi S.p.A, leading global company in the processing and marketing of Carrara marble listed on Euronext Growth Milan, and BNL BNP Paribas announce that they have initiated a collaboration aimed at creating synergies in favour of those businesses operating in Carrara's marble supply chain so to support the economic recovery of the area. This initiative is part of the "Made in Italy Excellence Development Program" by BNL BNP Paribas.

The agreement foresees that Franchi Umberto Marmi and BNL collaborate to identify those companies that stand out for their productive and managerial skills and competences, giving them the opportunity to access financial support at particularly competitive conditions. The initiative aims at supporting Carrara's area, which is made up of small and medium-sized companies that are an excellence in their markets and are characterised by specialist expertise with high added and strategic value for the industry and for the country.

In this framework, BNL BNP PARIBAS will get in contact with suppliers and companies linked to the marble supply chain with the goal of supporting them financially. This process will be achieved through the offer of credit services at special conditions, products to support exports and the opening to the international markets thanks to the global network of BNP Paribas Group.

More specifically, funding can range from short, medium and long-term loans to specific instruments such as reverse factoring. Furthermore, the Bank's support will not be limited only to providing financial services to sustain the business, but supports with specific products directed at helping companies in their energy efficiency processes, sustaining their ecological transition and overall reduction of the environmental impact with positive effects also on the local community.
