　Traditionally, in e-discovery (electronic discovery) in international litigation and digital forensic investigations, when a large amount of data including confidential information of companies is analyzed externally, it is sometimes brought out in the state of readable original data. The risk of leaking confidential information has become an issue.This technology makes it possible to analyze data in a hashed state, which makes it possible to safely take data outside and greatly reduce the risk of information leaks.
　Hashing, which is used as a security measure, is a technology developed for safely storing and communicating data on the Internet.It is a method of converting data into an irregular character string "hash value" using a hash function, and since the hash value is irreversible, it is technically very difficult to determine the original data.On the other hand, "encryption" is also a method of converting the original data using a cryptographic algorithm "encryption key" so that the data cannot be read. Is possible.As the development of quantum computers progresses worldwide, there are growing concerns that the cryptographic keys may be deciphered by quantum computers.

　With this technology, KIBIT analyzes hashed data and acquires only the information necessary for investigation purposes from a set of data (for example, the degree of relevance to document evidence, points of interest in documents, or AI analysis models).By comparing the acquired information with the original data and identifying the necessary parts, companies and experts can reduce the risk of information leakage and efficiently carry out a huge amount of review work.
