Fuji Group establishes long-term targets

for becoming carbon neutral

Fuji Corporation (Headquarters: Chiryu, Aichi, Joji Isozumi; Representative Director, President, and COO) recognizes that conservation of the global environment is the most important issue common to all humanity, we have set a mid-term target of reducing CO₂ emissions (Scope 1 and 2) in our business activities by 46% by the end of fiscal 2031, compared to fiscal 2014 and we are continuing our efforts.

In order to make a concentrated effort to become carbon neutral by 2050, we have established the Fuji Group long-term targets.

Note: Scope 1: Direct emissions by in-house fuel consumption

Scope 2: Indirect emissions by in-house use of electricity and heat

Scope 3: Emissions of other companies generated in the value chain such as material procurement, logistics, and sales related to our business activities other than scope 1 and 2.

Fuji will continue to take on the challenge of becoming carbon neutral by 2050, and will continue to make sincere efforts to preserve the global environment for "Enriching the lives of those in the world around us" as stated in our Purpose.
