ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG agreed to acquire Go-Ahead Verkehrsgesellschaft Deutschland Gmbh from The Go-Ahead Group plc.

ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG signed an agreement to acquire Go-Ahead Verkehrsgesellschaft Deutschland Gmbh from The Go-Ahead Group plc on October 12, 2023. Upon completion, Go-Ahead Verkehrsgesellschaft will continue to operate as an independent company under the existing management with the current management. The transaction is subject to competition approval and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Alexander Hartmann, Arnt Goppert, Stefan Lammel and Sabine Schroter of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner acted as legal advisor to Go-Ahead Group.
