Grand Canyon Education, Inc. Announces Resignation of David M. Adame as Director

The Corporate Governance Principles and Practices of Grand Canyon Education, Inc. require that a director tender his or her resignation for consideration by the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors upon ceasing to be actively employed in his or her principal business or profession. In accordance with this policy, Mr. David M. Adame, a director since 2021, tendered his resignation for consideration in light of his resignation as President and Chief Executive Officer of Chicanos por la Causa. Effective December 15, 2023, the Board of Directors, acting on the recommendation of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, accepted Mr. Adame?s resignation. Mr. Adame?s decision to resign is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company?s operations, policies or practices.

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is an education services company, which primarily serves colleges and universities. It provides technology and academic services, which include learning management system (LMS), internal administration, infrastructure, support, program and curriculum, faculty and related training and development, class scheduling and skills and simulation lab sites. The Company provides counseling services and support, including admissions services, financial aid, counseling services, and field experience counseling. The Company provides marketing and communication services that include lead acquisition, digital communication strategies, brand identity advertising, media planning and strategy, video, data science and analysis. Its back-office services include finance and accounting, human resources, audit and procurement.
