Gree Electric Appliances said its net profit rose 2.65% in the first quarter from a year earlier, as revenue rose and operating costs fell.
The Chinese home-appliance maker posted a net profit of 4.11 billion yuan ($594.6 million).
Revenue inched up 0.6% to CNY35.46 billion.
Operating costs fell 4.5% during the period.
