sMedio, Inc. announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 692 million compared to JPY 661 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 65 million compared to loss of JPY 63 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 40 million compared with loss of JPY 68 million a year ago. Basic earnings per
share was JPY 21.11 compared to loss of JPY 35.66 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 21.10.

The Software business segment is engaged in personal computer/digital home appliance integration, artificial intelligence (AI) video analysis, security & privacy software, and Internet of Things (IoT) solution businesses. The personal computer/digital home appliance integration business integrates video (4K/8K), audio playback, and browser display software into customer products. The AI video analysis business provides video analysis services using AI to customers in the construction industry. The security & privacy software business develops contracted software and produces data migration and backup applications for customers in the telecommunications industry.
