(Alliance News) - Gruppo MutuiOnline Spa announced Monday evening that Stefano Gnocchi has resigned from his position as standing auditor and pesident of the board of statutory auditors, effective as of the date of the shareholders' meeting convened to approve the financial statements for the year ending Dec. 31, 2022.

Gnocchi announced that his resignation follows his decision to accept the proposed appointment as board member of a leading credit institution, a position that is incompatible with his current position.

Gnocchi, the company explained, does not hold, either directly or indirectly, any ordinary shares in Gruppo MutuiOnline.

Gruppo MutuiOnline on Monday closed 1.4 percent in the red at EUR27.92 per share.
