Gruppo Waste Italia SpA, known as Kinexia SpA, is an Italy-based company engaged in the development activities in the field of renewable energy. Its activities include the design, construction and operation of plants in the fields of photovoltaic, wind, biogas and district heating. It operates through three segments. Renewable Energy segment focuses on designing, implementing and managing power plants to transform energy from natural sources into electric energy. District Heating provides electric energy and heat, as well as encompasses planning and creation of networks of district heating, and cogeneration of plants in the province of Turin. Environment segment includes processing and recycling of special and non-hazardous waste. It processes asbestos and organic waste by transforming it into a resource through the production of energy.
