Gunze Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. Net sales were JPY 105,881 million compared to JPY 102,366 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 5,938 million compared to JPY 5,019 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 6,769 million compared to JPY 6,516 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 6,250 million compared to JPY 6,686 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 4,183 million compared to JPY 4,469 million a year ago. Diluted E.P.S. was JPY 225.09 compared to JPY 237.56 a year ago. Net assets per share were JPY 6,164.13 compared to JPY 5,784.83 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018, the company expects Net sales of JPY 140,000 million, Operating income of JPY 5,500 million, Ordinary income of JPY 6,000 million, Net income attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 3,200 million, E.P.S. of JPY 173.51.
