Haleon announced on Wednesday that Dawn Allen is to take over as its new CFO, effective October 28.

The British consumer health products group says Dawn Allen will replace Tobias Hestler, who has chosen to resign in order to take care of his type 1 diabetes after a 30-year career.

Dawn Allen is currently CFO of Tate & Lyle, a supplier of ingredients to the food industry. Prior to this, he was CFO of US confectioner Mars.

He also sits on the board of British television group ITV.

On the London Stock Exchange, Haleon shares were little changed (+0.4%) on Wednesday following this announcement.
