Hanon Systems Relocates Manufacturing Site in Turkey

CEO hosts event to inaugurate new site in Dilovasi<_o3a_p>

<_o3a_p> SEOUL, Korea, April 21, 2022 - Hanon Systems (KS:018880), a leading global provider of automotive thermal and energy management solutions, today held an inauguration event celebrating the relocation of its Turkey operations from Gebze to Dilovasi. <_o3a_p>

Business growth and location played a strategic role in the decision to relocate the Turkey operation. The new site offers 46,000 square meters (approximately 495,000 square feet) of land with a building area of 32,000 square meters (approximately 345,000 square feet) that increases production capacity for various thermal management solutions. <_o3a_p>

The new operation in Dilovasi strengthens the company's manufacturing capability and footprint in Europe with its state-of-the-art and energy-efficient HVAC conveyor lines, injection molding machines, brazing furnaces, fin mills and core builders, bending machines, assembly lines and testing equipment.<_o3a_p>

In his opening comments at the inauguration event, President and Chief Executive Officer Min Sung said, "This relocation to a larger site is a testament to the company's growing business with automakers in the region. It also allows us to deliver innovative eco-friendly automotive solutions from a strategic location that is close to our customers." <_o3a_p>

The Dilovasi operation currently employs more than 600 people and offers room for expansion to address future business needs.<_o3a_p>

<_o3a_p> The company's presence in Turkey began in 2005 under Halla Climate Control in Gebze. In 2013, the plant became part of Halla Visteon Climate Control and today operates under the legal name Hanon Automotive Climate Sys. Manufacturing Industrial and Commercial Co.<_o3a_p>
