Feeling that our partners deserve more than a showroom, Haulotte has chosen not to exhibit any aerial work platforms on its 160m² stand. The Group wanted to focus on the deployment of the PULSEO range, the environment, and its solutions for improving productivity, day-to-day life and safety for its customers.

A cosy design stand without machine
The Haulotte stand was an invitation to share and exchange ideas. In 5 dedicated corners, visitors can discover the Group's digital ecosystem (cloud, applications, API, web portal, telematics box, etc.), its range of services and the initiatives it has put in place to promote more sustainable development.

Haulotte wanted to create a surprise for its partners by coming with no machine, Ludivine BERAUDEurope Marketing Manager explains how the idea came about:

« Our customers know that we are manufacturing reliable and innovative equipment. The Apex Show was for us the occasion to speak about our vision for the future, our added value solution and all the actions implemented for a more sustainable development! ».

APEX was also an opportunity to unveil a preview of FASTN, the operator security innovation that will make all the difference (bellow more info). Finally, Haulotte is extending its range of PULSEO all-terrain electric access platforms, and used the show to give a preview of its forthcoming models. The Group is also confirming that the range extender, a removable solution for increasing the machine's autonomy already present on the PULSEO HS15 E & 18 E scissor lifts, will be the cornerstone of future machines, and is already looking at other energy alternatives for it.

Focus on FASTN

As safety is part of Haulotte DNA and it is one the major axis of the Group's strategy. Haulotte wants to improve safety and contribute to save lives on worksite. The objective of FASTN is to offer a smart solution to tackle one of the leading cause of casualties on MEWPs, operator's fall. It will help rental companies to enrich their safety and digital offer and construction companies to support their zero accident strategies.

How it works?

The active anchorage is universal and can be installed easily on all types of MEWPs allowing a fast deployment within rental companies' fleets. FASTN works on the same principle as a car seat belt. If the operator is not anchored to FASTN detection box while operating the machine, the system will send visual and audible reminder like in a car.

FASTN is also featuring a wake-up function. If no operator movement is detected, the system will start to wake him up and alert the worksite to a potential operator distress. An anti-bypass function is also alerting the worksite of a potential misuse. To finish, FASTN can detect a potential operator fall or ejection and directly alert the worksite for a quick rescue. All the events are recorded by the FASTN control box and provide valuable data for building safety KPIs reports. Construction companies are better able to manage safety onsite and build appropriate prevention campaigns

Focus on CSR vision

Sustainable development is at the heart of Haulotte's strategy. Haulotte is committed to meeting current and future social and environmental challenges by offering increasingly safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly solutions for working at height.

APEX was an ideal opportunity for Haulotte to present its CSR policy and the actions implemented by the Haulotte Group, its factories, its logistics warehouses, and its subsidiaries, in co-construction with its stakeholders.

"During the show, we had the opportunity to get our customers to react about our priority CSR commitments, and to confront our vision with their own. We had some very interesting discussions and the opportunity to explain concrete actions Haulotte is implementing in its factories and subsidiaries"reacts Berenger DUDEKHealth Safety and Environment Manager

The Haulotte teams would like to thank all their visitors and customers who attended the show. It was another great APEX edition, and we look forward to next year's edition.
