HearAtLast Holdings Inc. announced that it is set to open its first HearAtLast Hearing Clinic on the First Nations territory in Akwesasne, Ontario. The plan to build out and develop a series of clinics on First Nations territory had begun at the time of Whirlwind Enterprise's private investment in HearAtLast Holdings Inc. and after much planning, Whirlwind plans this to be the first of similar developments. The Akwesasne location is wholly owned and operated by Whirlwind Enterprise through a licensing agreement with HearAtLast Holdings.

In addition to a HearAtLast Hearing Clinic, Whirlwind has also developed and opened the first Medical Clinic under the AppleTree Medical brand on First Nations territory. This is of particular importance as clients that visit the HearAtLast Clinic are required to have a physician approve their Assisted Device Program forms (ADP) in order to qualify for their subsidy and with the availability of an AppleTree Medical Clinic, makes it convenient for the HearAtLast client.
