Heartland Financial USA, Inc. Announces Retirement of Bruce K. Lee as President and Member of the Board of Directors

Heartland Financial USA, Inc. announced that on February 13, 2024, Bruce K. Lee, the Company?s President and a member of the Board of Directors, informed the Board that he intends to retire by the end of 2024. Mr. Lee has agreed that he will continue to serve as the Company?s CEO until his successor is chosen and assumes the role of CEO, and will assist in the transition and retire from the Company at the end of the year. Mr. Lee also indicated that concurrent with his successor assuming the role of CEO of the Company, he intends to retire from the Board.
The Board has formed a search committee and will use Heidrick & Struggles, a nationally recognized executive recruiting firm, to begin a nationwide search for Mr. Lee?s successor.
