H&M announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Daniel Ervér, previously responsible for the H&M brand, as the Group's new CEO.

Daniel Ervér succeeds Helena Helmersson, who has decided to step down as CEO and leave the H&M Group.

Born 43 years ago, Daniel Ervéra has worked at H&M for 18 years, holding various positions up to and including heading up the H&M brand, the eponymous group's most important brand.

In addition to his appointment as CEO of the H&M Group effective immediately, Daniel Ervér will also continue to have operational responsibility for the H&M brand.
