FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., - Hyundai Motor North America promoted Manish Mehrotra to vice president, digital business planning and connected operations and Matt Little to vice president, human resources and administration services, and vice president of the Hyundai Motor Company global human resources group.

Mehrotra and Little both will continue reporting directly to Jose Munoz, president and global chief operating officer of Hyundai Motor Company and president and CEO of Hyundai Motor North America. Both promotions were effective Feb. 6, 2023.

Manish Mehrotra

Manish Mehrotra has more than 30 years of experience in enterprise technology strategy, planning and investments. He joined Hyundai in 2012 as the senior group manager of enterprise architecture and has since held leadership roles in digital business planning and connected operations and has led teams on enterprise customer management, and owner website organization.

Mehrotra was most recently the executive director of digital business planning and connected operations where he was responsible for IT strategy and planning for enterprise systems, connected car operations, Owner APP/portal, cyber security and big data governance and data monetization. In Manish's new role as vice president, he will continue to lead digital business planning and connected operations and lead the formation of the information protection center.

Under Mehrotra's leadership, Hyundai has seen many technological advancements. Hyundai's connected car program, Bluelink, has seen an increase in enrollment and engagement rates, and the recently announced Bluelink+, is now an industry leading connected car program. Additionally, the MyHyundai owner APP and portal have ranked amongst leaders on customer journey and functionality by JD Power APP study. Mehrotra has also lead digitalization efforts internally by helping to modernize technology used by the team. He also helped establish a big data platform to house Vehicle CRM data for safety and quality analytics.

Matt Little

Matt Little joined Hyundai in 2013 as the senior group manager of human resources development and was later elevated to support the human resource team as director in 2017. Most recently he advanced to executive director, human resource and administration where he also managed purchasing and vehicle administration. Prior to Hyundai, Little was the manager of human resources, group functions and affiliate operations at Volkswagen Group of America.

During his time with Hyundai, he has worked to develop internal talent, increased diverse leadership and created opportunities for learning and career growth. He also assisted with the digital work transformation during lockdowns caused by Covid and helped the company leverage those learnings in its hybrid and remote work processes.

Under his leadership in partnership with the leadership team, based on employee engagement surveys scores, for the first time in its history Hyundai Motor America was recognized as a 2022 Southern California Top Workplace and most recently 2023 Top Workplace in the United States.

In his new role as vice president of human resources, Little is responsible for collaborating with the management team to develop and enforce human resource policies, procedures and best practices that align with the company's vision and mission. In addition, Little will also provide global human resource strategy and organizational development as the vice president of Hyundai Motor Company's Global human resource group reporting directly to senior vice president, Won Dae Jung.
