IDLC Finance Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net income was BDT 377.99 million compared to BDT 436.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BDT 0.91 compared to BDT 1.05 a year ago.
For the six months, net income was BDT 722.08 million compared to BDT 918.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BDT 1.74 compared to BDT 2.21 a year ago.
IDLC Finance Limited is a Bangladesh-based non-banking financial institution. The Company's products and services include small and medium enterprise (SME) loans, corporate loans and consumer loans. Its corporate loans include corporate finance, supply chain finance, structured finance solutions and green finance. Its green financing includes renewable energy, energy and resource efficiency, liquid waste management, and solid waste management. The Company's consumer loans include home, car and personal. Its SME loans include SME term/lease, working capital, seasonal, commercial vehicle and Abashan. The Company operates in capital markets through its subsidiaries, such as IDLC Securities Limited, IDLC Investments Limited and IDLC Asset Management Limited.
