LiteBulb (AIM: LBB), the branded product developer, announces that it has received a request from Mr Nicholas Ponting, who holds approximately 12.4% of the issued share capital of the Company, to convene an extraordinary general meeting of the Company (the "EGM"). The EGM has been sought to propose resolutions to make a number of changes to the board of the Company, including the appointment of Mr Nicholas Ponting to the Board.
The Board notes that Mr Ponting has not provided any information with respect to his plan for dealing with the Company's current financial position. The Company is consulting with its advisers with respect to the requisition to convene the EGM and the proposals put forward and a further announcement will be made in due course.
