ION BEAM APPLICATIONS, SA Ion Beam Applications, S.A. announced the promotion of Jean-Marc Bothy to chief strategy officer and the appointment of Soumya Chandramouli as CFO. As Chief Strategy Officer Jean-Marc will be primarily responsible for the company's key partnerships, which are an essential part of the company's strategy. The role will also encompass review of further growth expansion opportunities.
With support from Soumya, Jean-Marc will retain the investor relations and corporate communications functions as part of his role. Soumya Chandramouli joined IBA from EY in 2004 and, over this period, she has taken on increasing responsibility within IBA's finance department, most recently as VP Finance for the Proton Therapy and Other Accelerators division.
