The Company’s principal activities are the development of plant-based polymers, and the production and sale of these materials globally, both directly and through partners as ingredients in product formulations. The Company operates through two segments: Performance Ingredients and Formulation Solutions. The Performance Ingredients segment develops, produces, and sells specialty polymers that are used as functional ingredients to meet customers' needs in cleaning, beauty, and hygiene products. The Formulation Solutions segment provides technical services and ingredient supplies for formulated products developed for customers based on Performance Ingredients. Its products include Itaconix DSP 2K, Itaconix TSI 122, Itaconix TSI 322, Itaconix ONZ 400, Itaconix ONZ 075, Itaconix SF 505, Itaconix VELAFRESH ZP20, Itaconix VELAFRESH ZP30 and VELASOFT NE 100.
