JCDecaux has published sales of 801.6 ME for the 1st quarter, up 11.1% on a reported basis (+11% on an organic basis).

Organic growth was achieved in all segments, including Street Furniture (+9.2%), Transport (+15.1%) and Billboard (+7%).

Moreover, "all geographical areas reported positive organic growth in the first quarter, including double-digit sales growth in the United Kingdom, Asia-Pacific and the Rest of the World", commented Jean-François Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and co-CEO of JCDecaux.

As for the outlook, JCDecaux anticipates organic sales growth of around 12% in Q2, counting in particular on the positive impact of the Paris Olympic Games and the European Football Championship in Germany.
