JG Summit Holdings, Inc. announced that in view of the reorganization the following shall cease to be officers of JGS: Cornelio S. Mapa, Jr. as Senior Vice President, Investments and New Builds. Alan D. Surposa as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. Emmanuel de Pano as Vice President, Corporate Internal Audit. Carlos G. Santos as Chief Information Officer. The following shall be appointed as officers: Michael P. Liwanag appointed from Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff to Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Chief of Staff. Bach Johann M. Sebastian appointed from Senior Vice President-Strategic investments Group to Senior Vice President, Strategic Investment. Nicasio L. Lim appointed from Senior Vice President of the Corporate Resources Group to Senior Vice President, Corporate Human Resources. Lisa Y. Gokongwei-Cheng appointed from Head-Digital Transformation to Senior Vice President, Digital Transformation and Corporate Services. Date of approval and effective date is on October 23, 2020.
JG Summit Holdings, Inc. is a holding company for a group of companies with substantial business interests in branded consumer foods, agro-industrial and commodity food products, real estate and hotel, air transportation, banking and financial services, and petrochemicals. It also has core investments in telecommunications and power generation and distribution. The Foods, Agro-Industrial and Commodities businesses segment is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of a diverse mix of salty snacks, chocolates, candies, biscuits, bakery products, beverages and others. The Air Transportation segment include air transport services, both domestic and international, for passengers and cargos, and line and light maintenance services. The Petrochemicals segment is a manufacturer of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polymer grade ethylene, polymer grade propylene, partially hydrogenated pyrolysis gasoline, pyrolysis fuel oil, aromatics, butadiene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
