John Hancock Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (the fund) is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to provide a high level of after-tax total return from dividend income and capital appreciation. The Fund invest at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus borrowing for investment purposes) in dividend-paying common and preferred securities that the Advisor believes at the time of acquisition are eligible to pay tax-advantaged dividends.
