Journeo plc announce it has received a £1.5 million purchase order from Swansea Council. The purchase order is for the manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of the latest Journeo Thin-Film Transistor (TFT), Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and interactive totem technologies. Approximately 35% of the displays supplied will be Journeo's low-carbon, solar powered TFT in-shelter displays, supporting the authority's drive to achieving Carbon Net Zero by 2050.

Displays will initially be connected to Swansea Council's existing Content Management System (CMS), already supplied by Journeo, until the Transport for Wales (TfW) country-wide Welsh Bus Data Content Management System (WBDCMS) is launched, and authority systems migrated, later in the year. The order also contains a deliverable of Journeo's innovative 'RTI anywhere' QR code solution, which will enable passengers to scan QR codes situated at more than 500 bus stops with their personal mobile devices, and receive the latest information on departures for the location in visual and audible formats. The revenues are included in management's expectations of performance for the current financial year and add to the Company's strong order book, providing further future revenue visibility.
