KHD HUMBOLDT WEDAG INTERNATIONAL AG KHD Humboldt Wedag and AVIC have been awarded with a major EPC contract for engineering, equipment supply, construction, commissioning and site services by Northen Region Cement Co., Saudi Arabia - one of the leading and most innovative cement manufacturers in Saudi Arabia, with additional operations in Iraq, Jordan and Syria.
KHD Humboldt Wedag will design and deliver the plant with the latest sustainability-driven technologies, while AVIC, KHD's parent company, will complete the EPC project in a record time. Contract commencement is subject to the fulfillment of agreed milestones.
In addition, KHD has entered into a technical agreement with Northen Region Cement Co. to enhance their strategic and synergetic collaboration further.
