CHANGE OF COMPANY SECRETARY

The board of Directors (the "Board") of Kin Yat Holdings Limited (the "Company" together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") hereby announces that Mr. Chan Ho Man ("Mr. Chan") will retire as company secretary of the Company with effect from 1 September 2020.

Mr. Chan has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters in respect of his retirement that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Following the retirement of Mr. Chan, Mr. Li Tung Wai ("Mr. Li") will be appointed as the company secretary of the Company with effect from 1 September 2020.

Mr. Li, aged 53, joined the Group in June 2019 as the Group Financial Controller of the Group. Mr. Li graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Hong Kong in 1993. Currently, he is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Li worked in a renowned international accounting firm and companies listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Mr. Li has extensive experience in auditing, accounting, treasury and corporate secretaryship.

The Board would like to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Chan for his valuable contribution to the Company over the years and extend a warm welcome to Mr. Li on his appointment.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board comprises nine Directors, of which five are executive Directors, namely Mr. CHENG Chor Kit, Mr. FUNG Wah Cheong, Vincent, Mr. LIU Tat Luen, Mr. CHENG Tsz To and Mr. CHENG Tsz Hang; and four independent non- executive Directors, namely Mr. WONG Chi Wai, Dr. SUN Kwai Yu, Vivian, Mr. CHENG Kwok Kin, Paul and Mr. CHEUNG Wang Ip.
