Stig Wærnes has been appointed interim CEO of KMC Properties. Wærnes succeeds
Liv Malvik, who has informed the board of her decision to leave the company. The
appointment will be effective from 1 June 2024 at the latest. Starting from
today, Wærnes will work closely with Malvik in the transition period.

The board of directors will immediately start the process to find a new CEO.

Wærnes is currently the chair of the board in BEWI Invest, the largest
shareholder of KMC Properties. He has broad experience from accounting, advisory
and board positions, including as regional managing partner and deputy chair of
BDO. Wærnes has been actively involved in the company since 2020, through his
engagement for BEWI Invest, and served the board of KMC Properties from 2020 to
2023, including as chair of the audit committee.

Liv Malvik has served as CEO of KMC Properties for 4 years.

"Liv Malvik has led KMC Properties through a transformational period, from being
a privately held real estate company, to becoming a solid listed real estate
group. The company has demonstrated strong growth and has a solid financial
position following the successful re-financing last year. We would like to thank
Liv for her contribution to the company," says Bjørnar André Ulstein, chair of
the board in KMC Properties.

Malvik has a notice period of six months.
