LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited Appoints Mohammad Iqbal Chowdhury as Director of the Board of Directors

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited operates cement and aggregates manufacturing plants at Chhatak under Sunamganj district, and three grinding plants near Dhaka and Khulna. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of building materials in the local market and international market. The Company operates through two segments: clinker and cement, and aggregates. Its brands in the building sector include Holcim Strong Structure, Holcim Water Protect, Holcim Shokti, Supercrete and Supercrete Plus. It also produces aggregates in its Chhatak Plant, which is an import substitution. The Company extracts and processes the basic raw materials of limestone from the quarry in Meghalaya, India. The Company’s subsidiaries include Lum Mawshun Minerals Private Limited (LMMPL) and Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited (LUMPL).
