Atlante chooses Landis+Gyr charging solutions to support the expansion of e-mobility services in southern Europe

Milan, Italy - 20. September 2023 - Landis+Gyr, a leading global provider of integrated energy management solutions, and Atlante, the company of NHOA Group dedicated to electric vehicles fast and ultra-fast charging infrastructure, sign a contract for provision of INCH Duo AC Charging Stations to diversify offering on a growing number of charging sites across Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal.

After announcing the acquisition of the Portuguese EV Charging Service provider KLC in December 2022, Atlante became one of the largest fast-charging networks in the Iberian Peninsula. The mission to expand this title throughout Southern Europe continues through a partnership with Landis+Gyr.

A growing demand for new diverse locations called for the addition of a different EV charger type. Landis+Gyr's INCH Duo chargers were selected as a preferred solution for public charging locations where usage patterns demand longer stay, such as retail centers or Park&Ride areas.

Well-matched alignment in envisioning personal transportation running on clean renewable energy and grid integration efforts were coupled by distinct design, contributing to the recognition of Atlante's fast and ultra-fast charging network.

Established just over one year ago, Atlante already has over 3.200 charging points online and under construction. After securing in September 2022 €23 million under the European funding programme CEF 2 Transport - Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Facility ("AFIF"), second cut-off, Atlante has recently received further €50 million of financial support from European Commission, under the same program but fourth cut-off, for the setting up of an additional 1,800 fast and ultra-fast points of charge across Southern Europe.

"Companies like Atlante are the main drivers behind electric transition in respective markets. We are happy to contribute to the growth of Atlante's EV charging network with our Smart charging equipment" says Ing Vincenzo Quintani, Managing Director, Landis+Gyr Italy.

Atlante sets on a course to provide users 100% clean renewable energy, backed by energy storage and photovoltaic systems where possible.
