Laura Ashley holdings PLC announced that Mr. Kwan Cheong Ng will retire as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company on April 30, 2020. He will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director of the Board after retirement. Katharine Poulter who is the Chief Operating Officer of the company, will be appointed as Executive Director of the company and will succeed Mr. Ng as Chief Executive Officer with effect from May 1, 2020.

She has 25 years of retail experience with companies including Marks and Spencer plc, Home Retail Group plc, Kingfisher plc, Tesco plc and Willko Brands Ltd.
