Intelligent Energy to speak at the Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle event 2017

This week Intelligent Energy's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Chris Dudfield, will be speaking at Cenex's Low Carbon Vehicle Event (LCV) 2017. The event, taking place on 6 - 7 September, will be held at Millbrook, Bedfordshire and is one of the UK's premier low carbon vehicle events. The event builds organisational awareness and confidence to adopt low carbon vehicle technologies.

Chris will be taking part in the Advanced Manufacturing seminar on 7 September at 9.15am, speaking on 'Creating the Blueprint for Advanced Fuel Cell Manufacturing'. His talk will focus on the Digiman Programme, a €3.5 million programme charged with providing the blueprint to enable fully-automated mass manufacturing of fuel cell stacks for the automotive market. Once developed, the design will enable build-to-print machine configurations to scale production capacity to meet future requirements of more than 50,000 fuel cell stacks. Intelligent Energy is the Digiman programme's technology lead with overall coordination provided by CEA Tech-Liten.

In addition, following this week's announcement that the Metropolitan Police will be trialling a fleet of Suzuki Burgman fuel cell scooters, a liveried scooter will be on display at the APC stand at this week's LCV. The Burgman uses Intelligent Energy's 4kW fuel cell system which produces zero emissions at tailpipe and can be refuelled in minutes.
