Leclanche SA is a Switzerland-based company that specializes in the electrical energy storage industry sector. The Company is organized into three business segments: the Portable segment conceives, develops and carries out turn-key solutions for storage of portable electrical power for specific applications; the Distribution segment commercializes batteries, as well as accessories, such as flashlights and small chargers, and the Stationary segment produces lithium ion cells and systems for high-end applications, and the segment includes automotive, stationary and off-road divisions. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries includes Germany-based Leclanche GmbH, which is engaged in manufacturing of lithium ion batteries, and Trineuron, which develops lithium battery management systems (BMS) and module designs for transport applications.
