In addition to ESG strategy, Joanne and her wider team will be responsible for Maintel's compliance programme, which includes managing more than 120 non-financial regulations and maintaining a range of nominated Accreditations and ISO Certifications, the Maintel policies, procedures, and mandatory employee training.

This new role is part of a wider ESG strategy including Maintel recently being accepted as committed to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) which demonstrates Maintel's ambitions around climate change and the journey towards a net-zero carbon future. Maintel joins the likes of TalkTalk, BT, Telenet Technology Services, and Vodafone Group in clearly stating its commitment to improving itself and the wider community impact on the environment.

Over the last nine years, Maintel has maintained international standards across everything from security to sustainability and these recent developments are part of its continued commitment to contributing to a long-term future.
