Dear Mr. José:
Westwood Global Investments, LLC, with registered office and headquarters located at One Financial Center, Suite 1620, Boston, MA, 02111, United States (the "Westwood"), for purposes of compliance with Section 12 of CVM Ruling 44/21, hereby informs Marcopolo S.A. (the "Company") that it sold, in a transaction carried out on January 25, 2022, a total number of 2,435,500 preference shares of the Company.
By virtue of this transaction, Westwood's participation in preference shares of the Company has decreased and has crossed below the 5% threshold established by the CVM Ruling 44/21. Westwood had 30,736,761 preference shares, which represented 5.0782% of the preference shares outstanding, and has 28,301,261 preference shares as of January 25, 2022, which represents 4.6758% of the preference shares of the Company.
Westwood also informs that its equity interest in the Company is held for investment purposes, with no intention to change the control or to influence the management structure.

Westwood Global Investments, LLC, com sede na One Financial Center, Suite 1620, Boston, MA, 02111, Estados Unidos ("Westwood"), em atendimento ao Artigo 12 da Instrução CVM 44/21, conforme alterada, neste ato informa à Marcopolo S.A. ("Companhia") que vendeu, em transação realizada em 25 de janeiro de 2022, um montante total de 2.435.500 ações preferenciais da Companhia.
Em virtude desta transação, a participação da Westwood em ações preferenciais da Companhia foi diminuída e ultrapassou para menos o limite de 5% determinado pela Instrução CVM 44/21. A Westwood detinha 30.736.761 ações preferenciais, que representavam 5,0782% do total das ações preferenciais, e detém 28.301.261 ações preferenciais desde 25 de janeiro de 2022, que representam 4,6758% do total das ações preferenciais da Companhia.
A Westwood também informa que sua participação acionária na Companhia é detida exclusivamente para fins de investimento, sem a intenção de alterar o controle ou influenciar a estrutura da administração.
