Waters Technologies Corporation completed the acquisition of Israeli water business assets of Medtechnica Ltd. (TASE: MEDI).

Medtechnica Ltd is an Israel-based company engaged in the healthcare industry. The Company is primarily active in the supply and distribution of medical, optical, analytical and geodesic equipment. The Company offers a range of medical and technical apparatus, including imaging and diagnostic equipment, defibrillators, pulse oximeters, surgical and orthopedic instruments, operating tables, hospital beds, stretchers, lifts, sliding sheets, blood collection and processing equipment, physiotherapy tolls, gastroenterology apparatus, surgical headlights and ophthalmology equipment, as well as global positioning system (GPS) tools, surveying instruments, construction laser products, automated incubators, sample storage devices, lab automation instruments and liquid handling equipment, among others. Additionally, the Company is involved in the development, manufacture and marketing of the portable respirators.
