Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. announced the promotion of Barbara Carlson, to Vice President, Business Development; Erez Cohen, to Vice President, Cloud Program; Yaron Gepstein, to Vice President, Software; Shaul Galila, to Vice President, Manufacturing Operations; Hadas Farber-Bracha, to Vice President, Planning and Control; Ofer Bustin, to Vice President, Silicon Operations; and Oshri Cohen, to Vice President, Purchasing and Logistics. In addition, the company has also promoted Ofer Ezra to the position of Senior Principal Engineer of Layout Design; Aviad Raveh, to Senior Principal Architect, Software; and Ran Ravid to Senior Principal Chip Design Engineer. Barbara Carlson and Erez Cohen will report to Amir Prescher, Senior Vice President, Business Development; Aviad Rave will report to Dror Goldenberg, Vice President, Software Architecture; Yaron Gepstein will report to Amit Krig, Vice President, Software; Shaul Galila, Hadas Farber-Bracha, Ofer Bustin and Oshri Cohen will all report to Ronnen Lovinger, Vice President Operations and Corporate Quality; Ofer Ezra will report to Alon Webman, Vice President, Silicon Engineering; and Ran Ravid will report to Ido Bukspan, Vice President, Chip Design.

Barbara Carlson, Vice President of Business Development at Mellanox, is responsible for growing the business in Web/Cloud accounts. Erez Cohen, Vice President of the Mellanox Cloud Program, joined Mellanox in August, 2000 and has more than 17 years of related high tech experience. Erez is responsible for the Mellanox Cloud activities.

Yaron Gepstein, Vice President of Software, joined Mellanox in August, 2000 as a design engineer in the Silicon group. Shaul Galila, Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, joined the Company in May, 2009 as a NPI Manager and since 2010, has lead the NPI and mass production teams in the manufacturing of all boards, switches and systems products. Hadas Farber-Bracha, Vice President of Planning and Control, has more than 17 years of related industry experience.

She is currently responsible for Mellanox planning, cost management and supply chain control. Prior to joining Mellanox, she worked at Voltaire as a Planning and Control Director. Ms. Farber-Bracha also worked at Applied Materials and SanDisk.

Ofer Bustin, Vice President of Silicon Operations, joined Mellanox in February 2002 and worked as an industrial engineer until November 2007. Mr. Bustin returned to Mellanox in July, 2009 and managed the ICs and Cables manufacturing team. In April, 2014 he was promoted to Senior Director of Operations with responsibility for the Mellanox IC manufacturing operations including CMOS, BiCM OS and silicon photonics devices.

Recently, the IC operations of the lately acquired EZchip, was added as well. Oshri Cohen, Vice President of Purchasing and Logistics joined Mellanox in April 2007 as the Company's Operations Manager and was promoted to Senior Operations Manager in May, 2011 with responsibility for Mellanox worldwide purchasing activities including manufacturing, G&A, supplier management, company facilities and services worldwide as well as Mellanox worldwide logistics solutions. Prior to joining Mellanox, Mr. Cohen worked as an Operations Manager for Silynx communications.

Ofer Ezra, Senior Principal Engineer of CAD and Layout Design, joined the Company in 1999 as an engineer to lead a new layout design team. Mr. Ezra has more than 27 years of experience. Prior to joining Mellanox, he spent nine years at Intel as a Layout Manager and one year at Tower as a Senior CAD Engineer.

Mr. Ezra is currently responsible for the CAD, digital and analog layout for all of the Mellanox ICs and for all company EDA tools. Aviad Raveh, Senior Principal Architect for Switch Software, has more than 22 years of experience in the communication industry and joined Mellanox in September 2009 as an architect managing the switch software architecture team. In April 2014, he was promoted to Principal Architect.

His current responsibilities include driving the Mellanox switch software architecture from the ground up, defining the drivers for the family of Mellanox's switch devices, managing the system software architecture (primarily the MLNXOS) and driving the Company's Open Ethernet strategy within the industry. Prior to working for Mellanox, he was the CTO and Founder of Automation Lifestyle, a start-up focused on uPNP-based home appliances. Ran Ravid, Senior Principal Chip Design Engineer at Mellanox, has 15 years of experience.

He joined Mellanox in 2001 with responsibility for all the chip design roles primarily in the Layer 1, 2 area. He is currently responsible for Layers 1 and 2 for all Mellanox products including switches, HCAs and FPGA as well as for analog logic verification in all products.
