Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. (TSE:5632) agreed to acquire Gebruder Ahle Gmbh & Co. Kg on December 8, 2017. Mitsubishi Steel will own complete 100% in Gebrüder Ahle post completion. Following the acquisition, Gebruder Ahle is planned to be named MSSC Ahle Deutschland GmbH. Gebruder Ahle Gmbh had sales of €24 million in financial year 2016. The Board of Mitsubishi approved the transaction on December 8, 2017. The definitive agreement is expected to be signed in late December 2017 while the transaction is expected to close in late February 2018. The deal will have no impact on earnings of Mitsubishi Steel for the fiscal year ending March 2018. Frontier Management Inc. acted as financial advisor to Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd.
