Miwa Sugar Limited specializes in the production and marketing of sugar and products derived from sugarcane processing. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- sugar (96.2%): 214.7 Kt produced in 2022/2023;
- derived products (3.8%): notably molasses, bagasse, residue briquettes and electricity.
At the end of June 2023, Miwa Sugar Limited has a 7,948 Ha sugarcane plantation in Tanzania. The group is also developing a production and marketing activity in Kenya, supplied by subcontracted sugarcane growers.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Tanzania (53.9%) and Kenya (46.1%).
