MMA is delighted to share that Debbi Garreffa, Executive General Manager - Risk has taken on the role of Vice Chair of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Committee.

As a current member of IMCA's Asia Pacific committee and having presented material at several IMCA safety seminars in recent years, Debbi is a passionate advocate for promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace and living "a perfect day every day."

As well as leading MMA's HSE portfolio, Debbi was also instrumental in the development of MMA's Target 365 Leadership Engagement Programme, which was awarded an IMCA Safety Award earlier this year for promoting a culture of organisational safety.

Commenting on Debbi's appointment IMCA Safety Consultant, Nick Hough, said:

"We're delighted to welcome Debbi as vice chair of the committee and looking forward to working together. Her company, MMA Offshore, was an impressive winner at this year's IMCA Awards, being recognised for its groundbreaking safety management programme, and I'm sure we will all learn from her real-life understanding, extensive experience, and expert insight."
