MPLX LP announced that it has appointed Pamela K.M. Beall as the executive vice president. Currently, Beall serves as the executive vice president of Corporate Planning and Strategy at MPLX. Effective immediately, Beall will report to president of MPLX`s general partner, Donald C. Templin. Beall will remain in Findlay and succeed Nancy K. Buese, who is stepping down to join a Denver-based, public company. Bealls' career has included numerous finance, accounting and commercial roles at Marathon Petroleum Corp. and MPLX. On October 4, 2016, Nancy K. Buese informed the management of MPLX GP LLC, the general partner of MPLX LP that she had accepted a position with another company and therefore would no longer be serving in her position as principal financial officer of the Partnership. Effective October 6, 2016, Ms. Buese ceased to serve as the principal financial officer of the Partnership as the board of directors of MPLX GP LLC, the General Partner of the Partnership, appointed Pamela K.M. Beall, executive vice president of corporate planning and strategy of the General Partner, to serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the General Partner.
MPLX LP is a diversified master limited partnership that owns and operates midstream energy infrastructure and logistics assets and provides fuel distribution services. The Companyâs segments include Logistics and Storage (L&S) and Gathering and Processing (G&P). The L&S segment primarily engages in the gathering, transportation, storage and distribution of crude oil, refined products, other hydrocarbon-based products, and renewables. The L&S segment also includes the operation of its refining logistics, fuel distribution and inland marine businesses, terminals, rail facilities and storage caverns.
